My name is Melissa Frank. I am a Kindergarten teacher at The Honor Roll School. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world. I was born in Miami Florida and moved all over the world because of my father’s job until we settled in Sugar Land. I received my bachelors degree from Texas State University with a major in Psychology. After working in the corporate world for four years I made the decision to change careers and go after my true passion, teaching. I received my teaching credentials from ACT in elementary education and I am also ESL certified. I began working as a second grade teacher at The Honor Roll School in 2009. The next year I was lucky enough to come over to the kindergarten team.
