THRS Partners – Parent Volunteer Organization
Who are we?
THRS Partners is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, which was formed for
social, charitable, and educational causes. Our purpose is to seek, cultivate and obtain revenues to be used for developing and expanding educational opportunities for children who attend The Honor Roll School.
What do we do?
THRS Partners uses fundraising revenues to gift and complete projects on campus, requested by THRS Administration and Staff. Past gifts include: a campus-wide surveillance system, the Front Lawn “re-do”, new sound and projection systems in the gym and the dining hall, and a broadcast studio with audio speakers in every classroom.
2016-17: A complete renovation of the THRS gymnasium (new floor & wall paint, new curtain dividers and an easy-to-use electronic bleacher system)
2017-18: Installed a 21st century Innovation Lab & Collaborative Learning Center, integrating digital and print resources.
2018-19: Upgrade & enhanced the Fine Arts facilities (music, drama, art and visual arts)
What else? All year, we host events that showcase our school spirit such as Festival of Friends/Dolphin Dash Fun Run (on alternating years), New Family & Parent Socials, Pumpkin Patch, End of Year, Teacher Appreciations and Fun Food Fridays. We invite you to join us at any or all these events to see THRS SPIRIT in action!

How You Can Get Involved
Volunteerism is one of the most integral components of a successful relationship between a family and their school of choice. Studies have shown that children, whose parents regularly participate in their child’s school community, achieve a higher level of satisfaction and academic success than those whose parents do not. A parent’s regular attendance in their child’s school gives concrete proof to the children that education is indeed one of their families highest priorities.
Volunteering allows parents to develop deeper relationships between themselves and their children’s teachers and administrators. Whether you choose to volunteer weekly or once a year, there is an opportunity for every single parent to volunteer.
Dolphin Athletics Booster Club (DABC)
The Dolphin Athletic Booster Club (DABC) is a parent-based organization whose mission is to promote THRS Dolphins spirit and support the school’s athletes and athletic programs. The two tenets of the mission are not mutually exclusive in that a synergism exists between athletics and school spirit. We host various activities throughout the year to not only raise funds but more importantly to create awareness and an enthusiasm for the THRS Dolphins at their multitude of diverse competitions. Of course, whether your child is involved in athletics or not, we hope parents show their school pride by supporting DABC and getting involved and energized for their THRS Dolphins. GO DOLPHINS!
